WHat is
Nitro Coffee?

NITRO COFFEE, NITRO COLD BREW OR NITRO

IS COLD BREW COFFEE INFUSED WITH NITROGEN.

The addition of nitrogen makes the Cold Brew smoother and its creamy, velvety texture with a great waterfall look is reminiscent of a glass of Guinness beer.

DEFINITION.

Cold
Brew
Coffee

A special method of preparing coffee by gently extracting it over a period of several hours in cold water without any heat.

 WHERE IS THEDIFFERENCE?

COLD BREW.

Most people associate cold coffee with everything but anything edible. We don't take ourselves out of that. But cold brew is not cold coffee - cold brew is delicious!

As with any hot brewed coffee, the bean and the redness are mainly responsible for the taste. Depending on the variety, cold brew can taste fruity or more chocolaty.  What all beans have in common, however, is that the cold extraction process results in much less bitterness and less acidity (acid is dissolved out by the heat). It also has a higher caffeine content (caffeine is water-soluble).

NITRO

Turning a Cold Brew into Nitro Coffee, in our opinion, gets the most out of the coffee - the appearance changes to a fascinating texture and the flavour (taste + smell + mouthfeel) changes significantly.  While both tend to be subtle and sweet in flavour, a freshly tapped Nitro Coffee delivers a smooth, rich body with a frothy finish, similar to a stout or Guinness beer.

The nitrogen bubbles interact with the taste buds to bring more flavours to the fore - you can taste more and more intensely.

WHERE CAN I GET COLD BREW?

Either you use a cold brew producer who bottles and sells it ready-made in bag-in-boxes or you make your own cold brew and tap it fresh from our handy wide-necked kegs.

 Bag-in-Box.

What is Bag-in-Box?

Bag-In-Box means pretty much what it is: it is a plastic bag filled with a liquid (e.g. Cold Brew) in a cardboard box.

Long shelf life without preservatives.

When the liquid is withdrawn, no air flows into the tube; instead, the tube contracts (vacuum effect). This prevents oxidation and the liquid can be stored at room temperature for at least 4 weeks without preservatives. Pasteurisation eliminates the need for unnecessary preservatives.

Space-saving and more enviromentally friendly.

Bag-in-boxes are super easy to Bag-in-box is also a very environmentally friendly form of packaging, this is partly because bag-in-box packaging saves a lot of weight and space compared to a glass bottle or a barrel. Especially because of the cuboid shape, the box is more volume-efficient, which in turn leads to lower CO₂ emissions during transport and storage. In addition, both the bag and the box are fully recyclable.

 Wide-necked barrel.

You want to make your own cold brew, iced tea or cocktail?

No problem at all. Brew and filter your drink and then fill it into one of the practical wide-necked kegs. Easy to use and to clean afterwards. Equipped with stainless steel NC connection and available with a filling volume of 6.4 litres, 15 litres or 26 litres.
